Does anyone have or know a location I can find a snippet of code dealing with creating files for syncing to remotes from an outside application/script..?

Want to take some integration I have running inside SLX and move it to an outside task monitored script for some better monitoring.. Worried about the changes being sent to the remote.

Thanks all for your help

Don't focus on how to create log files, just use the methods provided for interacting with SLX.

From the outside app, you just need to use the SLX OLEDB Provider (or SLAPI if this is pre-v6). Look in the section for articles for external apps using the SLX Provider: http://www.slxdeveloper.com/page.aspx?id=15

Any data read or inserted/updated into the SLX database just need to use a connection using the SLX provider. Then everything for sync will happen, just as if you did the updates inside a SLX script.
