Official call for anyone attending Summit 2007 (Chicago)

So, turns out I will be at Summit this year. I'll only be there for a short time. Anyone attending for a slxdeveloper.com meetup on Sunday night (I'm only going to be there Sunday night)?
Anyone know of a good place to meet?

Maybe we'll meet up at insights? Anyway, I'm hoping we can get some together for a meetup, it's a bit late to try to organize one since most people might already be there. |

we're geeks, not party planners.
Waaaaaay back we used to have programmer parties. I'm talking before the 'net.
Anyway, I am here now in Chicago. Its Fri at about 3PM Chicago time. I just finished eating and going to head out to start scoping out the place. I am at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. There is a place here called "Big Bar" that looks interesting. Fairly open area with lotsa glass things.
I'll report in on anything else I might find and will check back here for anyone else who might be in the area and wants meet up.

I managed to talk a walk around the immediate area around the Hyatt Regency last night. Among the places I found were, Houlihan's where I stopped for a drink, Morton's of Chicago (steakhouse $$$$), a couple Chinese places and a couple coffee cafes. There was a KFC as well (-$ ) 
As I stated before the "Big Bar" located in the Hyatt seemed to be fairly easy to get to if you are staying at the Hyatt. If you are at the other hotel (I think the Sheraton) that is across the way I haven't walked in the direction yet, but from what I saw during the bus ride there are a few places near there that look interesting, including a Bowling alley if anyone is interested in that!
So far the conference is going well. I did find one hiccup in the personalized schedule for the SalesLogix Meet and greet tonight (Saturday) They list the room as MONS5RM, When I asked no one knew where this room was. I walked around and eventually found it. The actual room number is CC22. So to repeat.
Sage SalesLogix Meet and Greet on Saturday from 5:30 to 7:00PM is located in room CC22
Also note this is the official Sage meet and greet... not the SLXDeveloper.com meet and greet! Hopefully we can work out something for that soon!

I am looking at the schedule for Sunday and the welcome reception and trade show ends at 7PM. Based on the bus ride back it'd probably be safe to say 8PM is the earliest time.
So, meeting at the Big Bar at 8PM on Sunday night - that sound like the plan?

Doh! Maybe I went to the wrong bar? There was the bar named something with two letters, like K/M or something. I walked through it a few times and didn't see a guy on a motorcycle or a double-neck guitar or anything . Kidding, I was actually looking for you since I know what you look like (been a while, but I think I mostly remember what you look like). Anyway, I passed through the bad a few times and didn't see anyone (that I know of). I ended up deciding to go back to my room for a bit and would come down again later. Once in my room I turned on the TV and sat on the bed. I guess my jetlag kicked in (I went from AZ to MN and then just got into Chicago early that afternoon) and I fell asleep. So great. I was bummed to find out that you, John, and Nandu met and I missed it  Next year I have some plans that will make the meetup better, more organized, etc. |

I would have liked to meet you in Chicago Sunday night Ryan (et al) but I didn't see the post until Tuesday. Shoot. I thought you were going to be attending Sage Summit so I didn't look you up on here specifically.
