Escalations in Tickets

I believe in Saleslogix Version 6 there was a feature for ticket escalations where a Manager could be emailed/notified of overdue tickets. Is there any chance this feature could return (even be optional so that those that dont want to use it dont have to).?
Is there a way to make escalations work in version 7, 7.2 and 7.5 LAN
