Ryan, please excuse my ignorance as I am a newbie to forums but I would like to be able to see all threads without having to navigate to each subject area. This could be growingly painful given the number of requests for you to add more categories.

BTW thank you for the site!

Hi Timmus,

So are you saying you want to see all threads, regardless of category, as if all in the same group/category? I just want to make sure I understand the request. So you might go to some "All Threads" group and see threads from "Forum A" and "Forum B" and "Forum C"....etc all together? Is that right?

Thanks for the suggestion!

I can see where that would be very useful. I find that I scan down the list of forums often to see if the count reflects new posts. As this grows I can see where it would be hard to stay on top of things.

Would it work to have some way to see all the new posts at once? Or better to just have all threads lumped together?

I guess I should have done what I beg my customers to do: "ask for WHAT you want not HOW you want it"

I dont like drilling down to a topic and then having to "back out" to see other topics. It would be nice to see all the topics (take a tree view as an example), view a specific thread, and then be able to switch topics without using the back button or the "General Forums" link.

I realize this is a pretty standard web layout but it adds a few clicks to the experience which can add up if you are an active participant. Does that make sense or have I confused matters worse?

I think that makes sense. So would it be enough to just have a way to switch from forum to forum somehow (like with a tree on the side as you mentioned) without needing to back out to the main forum list page?

Sound right?

Thanks again for the suggestion Timmus. I do plan on adding that. The entire site needs a little bit of a revampt to make navigation easier. Especially for the fourms.

Thanks.
