Sales Process Probability

I have a question in SLX Sales Process. I have created a new Sales Process with the following rules:
sl.no Stage Name
1. Initial Contact - Probability - 10%
Step 1 to show a form namely : System:Complete Typed Activity
2. Qualifying - Probability - 30%
Step 1 to show a form namely : System:Complete Typed Activity
3. Proposal - Probability - 50%
Step 1 to show a form namely : System:Complete Typed Activity
4. Booked- Probability - 90%
Step 1 to show a form namely : System:Complete Typed Activity
5. Payment Received- Probability - 100%
Step 1 to show a form namely : System:Complete Typed Activity
Problem is the probability increase... when I go to opportunity and select the salesprocess, without checking the checkbox in grid in salesprocess, the probabilty shows as 10%. Instead of taking the current checked item in grid, it always shows next stage probability. It is a problem because, for last but one item, it says already 100% without checking. Any ideas as to what I am missing? Any help would be useful.
