Problem with Record Position or Counter ("1 of 10") Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hello everyone,

I have made a new mainview. This new mainview-basetable contains only 1 record. On ButtonClick in Account View I want to show this record in a new MainView.

Thie works for me with (XYZXYZXYZXYZ is the ID):

Application.BasicFunctions.ShowDetails "BlackBoard","XYZXYZXYZXYZ"
or
Application.MainViews.GetViewForRecord "XYZXYZXYZXYZ","BlackBoard"

My problem is now that the record counter/position shows "%n of %n". How can I refresh the counter to "1 of 1" or make it invisible.

Thanks.

Mark

To get the counter to refresh correctly you should use the Application.MainViews.Add method like so:
Set objMv = Application.MainViews.Add("System:Blackboard", 1, True)
With objMv
.Refresh
.Show
.CurrentID = "XYZXYZXYZXYZ"
End With
