fiogf49gjkf0d Hi All. SO : Windows 2003 server SLX V 6.2 SP3 In a Few Days ago I'm trying to install The Script Debugger In W 2003 Server. I have installed The Script Debugger for W2003 But when I go to Tools Options - Debug - And set Debbug Option To "On Error" I recieved the following Message, "Microsoft Script Debugger is either not installed or is not properly configured". In This Way I've installed this software In Windows XP and I don't need change anything else and the debugger work's fine. Anybody have any Idea or Know What I need To do in W2003 server or What additional SW I need to install for script debbuger
Thanks In Advance |

fiogf49gjkf0d Microsoft Script Debugger is a 5+ year old beastly thing derived from the days of Visual Studio 97 that sometimes seems to corrupt the debugging components registration on install.
Here's a thought, try installing Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition? I think that IDE can be used as a script debugger and installing it may clean up the debugging component registrations. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Great idea. I had not thought of using the express editions for a better suited debugger on test & dev machines that do not have a debugger installed. I'll have to try that out (to be honest I haven't played at all with the express editions so I don't even know what is included - such as debuggers etc) |

am i pregnant or pmsing quiz am i pregnant quiz nhs click fiogf49gjkf0d Darn. I have VB2005 Express installed, along with Visual Studio 2005 Professional (full), but when I went to set my Debug mode to "Always", the debugger selector only shows me the Microsoft Script Editor, Visual Studio .NET 2003, and Visual Studio 2005. (Not Visual Basic 2005 Express.)
Not sure if this disproves anything but it's clear that VB2005 cannot be selected as a script debugger if Visual Studio 2005 (full) is installed.
Edit: Wait, this is the "Script Editor", not "Script Debugger". I select that and a devenv.exe look-alike comes up... not sure if this is from VB2005 or not? Edit: Nah. MS Office. Path is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\mse7.exe . |
