fiogf49gjkf0d Hello friends,
Many times I get this error on some of the client machines using SalesLogix.
“Database login failed : Operation cannot be performed. Provider cannot obtain enough storage space.”
I am using SLX 6.2.3 with SQL 2000 Server on Win 2003 Server. After this error the system does not allow the user to login until I reinstall the database. The client machine has around 6 GB of free space.
I would appreciate if any of you can suggest me the solution to this.

fiogf49gjkf0d Hmmm... Well, there's definitely something different about this one workstation. Instead of taking a huge amount of time trying to pinpoint the exact issue it might be worth the time to uninstall the SLX client completely (Add/Remove programs and uninstall any SLX installs, delete the SalesLogix directory under program files and the SalesLogix registry entries.. hmmm check under all users for a SalesLogix directory as well)
Once you have it uninstalled, reinstall the client and apply whatever service packs and hot fixes required.
