Calling Legacy "System:SLX Opportunity Product" View from Opportunity Product Grid in SLX 7

Hi,
I am trying to call the legacy view "System:SLX Opportunity Product" View using the double-click event of the DataGrid. Using the following line of code does not work.
Application.BasicFunctions.DoInvoke "View", "System:SLX Opportunity Product"
Is there any other way to do this. I need to use the legacy form because it is customized.
As a test for the above command, I tried calling the legacy form "System:SLX Opportunity Close Out", and it works fine.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Regards
Ashish |

You could call it.. BUT in the long (and probably short) run because of the completely different way Opportunity (and Opp Products) is implemented now... You are better off taking the OOTB and implementing your customs in it.
The problem is that the form needs to know what record/row you clicked on.... and the DoInvoke will not do that for you... It's easy the other way.. legacy grid.. ActiveX form:
- Build a legacy script that does: strGridIDs = QueryGetIds("datagrid") GlobalInfoSet "GstrGridIDs ", strGridIDs DoInvoke "ActiveScript", "Personal:MyVbScript" GlobalInfoClear "GstrGridIDs "
b - Build your VbScript: strGridIDs = Application.BasicFunctions.GlobalInfoFor ("GstrGridIDs") intINumOfIds = Application.BasicFunctions.GetLineCount(strGridIDs) -1 -- rjl |
