Hi RJ,

The MenuItem is an object, so that is why you can't display it in a MsgBox. Anyway, The MenuItem has properties such as:

Caption
Checked
Default
Enabled
ImageIndex
MenuIndex
Tag
Visible

So, you can use any of those from that reference. What I usually do is assign each menu item a ImageIndex and then use those in my Case statement. That way I can reorder items, rename items, etc and not have to change the code.

Make sense?

MenuItem.Caption gives me the correctly chosen text.......and those darn automatically added '&' type ahead/quick keys characters need to be stripped out.....

MenuItem.ImageIndex gives me an error....not a supported Property or Method (I did populate the ImageIndex from their defaults of -1 to 0, 1, 2)

Maybe MenuIndex is the key?

Thanks!
