Ok here is what I'm trying to do:
1. Sales Process step opens a form.
2. This form, on AXFormValidate, runs a script that validates some data.
3. If the validation fails then I want to open a form so the user can enter this data.

So far this isn't working. I'm suspecting that because the Sales Process opens a child window, that a child window cannot open yet another child window. Can anyone confirm?

Hi Marc,

There's no limitation to the number of windows you can open - you definately can open a child window from a child window.

What seems to be going wrong for you? Getting an error? Nothing happening? etc.

Ryan,

I'm not sure what was going on but it just wouldn't display the new form. I've since gone through my code and was able to make things work in a different fashion so the point is moot, for now.
