Adding new Tab in SLX 6.2

My company is running SLX 6.2 and I have been asked to add a new tab to the app, only I am not sure where to do this at, I have been looking around the developer tool for SLX and am coming up blank, anyone know a good resource or where I would go to do this?

| I know you can create tabs automatically based on the form you create. For example if you want a tab in the account section then go to File --> New Plugin --> Form --> Account Form. This will show up as a tab. I know this can be done for Contact also. I haven't ventured into other ones yet. hope it helps. |

| You are correct. You can easily create an Account/Contact/Opportunity form for each of the main areas in SalesLogix. You'll also need to make sure to save those forms in the appropreate family (Account for account, Contact for contact, etc...) for them to show up as tabs. |

Also, you'll have to release the form to all the individuals or teams who need access. You may need to explain to them how to turn on additional tabs, as your new form won't automatically be visible.
That said, you can open up the MainView of the TACO (Ticket/Account/Contact/Opportunity) level, click on the TabsPane, open it's properties and modify the DefaultTabs. I'm not sure if changing those will affect active users or not. It may only affect new users when being setup, and probably not if you copy the profile from another user. I'll leave those questions for someone else.  |
