Qlikview dashboards in Saleslogix - Macros
Posted: 08 Nov 07 1:47 PM

Hi, I am using Qlikview (pronounced as click view) software for creating dashboards as that of the ones already available in Saleslogix.
It is a third party software that integrates with saleslogix. If anybody has worked on it, please answer my following question.
I am launching this dashboard from a mainview. How can I dynamically change the tabs in qlikview through saleslogix?
I have many tabs in my QVW file. I need to set a production dashboard as default when i navigate from account tab. If i navigate from navigation bar, i need to show home tab in my QVW file as default. Is there any macro or something to achieve this?
Any help in this regard would be appreciated... Thanks in advance. |

Hi Kannan,
Thanks for your reply...
I have only one QVW file. client does not want to see pagination in dashboards. If I had two QVW then this approach could work. I have all the tabs (sheets) within one QVW file. I need to set one of the sheets to get focussed when clicked from account tab and home tab if clicked from nav bar.
Figured out how to do this.
Just need to update a table with current useroptions. then in QvW file, a macro is written that will jump to corresponding sheet based on value in current selection.
