Hey guys,

SLX: 6.2.4

I use the following code to hide display / hide certain tabs based off the Account.Type field value

Application.BasicFunctions.SetTabVisibleProperty "Account:SITES", False
Application.BasicFunctions.SetTabVisibleProperty "Account:Customer", False
Application.BasicFunctions.SetTabVisibleProperty "Account:Units", True

My problem is that on accasion this code throws an error ... when i step through the code
i get an error description that one of the above lines usually the "Account:Units" line needs
"object required"

Its so strange sometimes it works and sometimes it fails anyone ever come accross anything
like this before.

im at a total loss as to why this could be happening so any idea's no matter how whacky would be
appreciated.

just as an additional note i get the following error message

"Invalid pointer operation at line xx, char xx"

the line references the "Account:Units" tab

the tab exists and i have no issues 9 times out of 10

Try setting, the tab the you want hidden to have focus before you hide it...

Yeah I think your right, I worked out which tabs would be visible
depending on where you linked from and hid only those tabs that were already visible.

Currently im not getting any errors, I'll keep testing and post what my results are

I think this is broken in 7.5. The SetTabVisibleProperty "FormName", False will hide the tab but SetTabVisibleProperty "FormName, True does not add the form back to the tab list.
