v6.2.4

I know there are plenty of threads on this but can't seems to find one that helps..

I have a customized process that is saving a reord in table with some date fields in that record. One date field in particular is set up as a DateTimeEdit field with its properties saved to store only the Date. Also I looked in the sectabledefs and the field has a "D" in the DateTimetype field. I am now running a query against this table and am grabbing the max date from this field. When i run this qury thru SQL Ent Mgr I am getting a return of lets say "02/06/2007 00:00:00.000"..but when i run the query thru script and put a msgbox on the date it returns "02/05/2006 7:00:00 PM"...
I know this is a GMT issue but can't figure out what is really going on. When i test this field and put a value in this field and then go and see what gets stored in the database its correct. when i pull it from the db thru script its i guess converting it...is there something i can do so it pulls whats in the db? does the datepicker need some different property setting?

I hope i explained this clearly..
