Can anyone explain how the OptionID PK field is generated? Or, if not, at least why it is 32 characters in length rather than the standard 12?

it's a GUID....
.. and there are NO provisions in Slx (scripting, etc) for you to be able to create your own.

Phil, it's a 32bit guid. You need to use Application.Useroptions to manipulate. Or, you could gen your own I guess !
