Hi folks,

I'm working on a contact hierarchy within SalesLogix which will hopefully end up as a structure chart diagram. Is this functionality avaliable within SalesLogix? Has anyone ever done something along these lines? I need a bit of advice on this one as I don't see a way of doing it.

Note: The basic treeview will not suffice, it needs to be a full structure chart diagram.

All help appreciated. Hope this makes sense.

Cheers
Kev

Visio will query the database and produce the chart for you. If the data's ready, this is very little work.

Kevin,

You could use one of my favorite tools, MindManager, to accomplish this very easily. I even have an article on this site describing just that.

See http://www.slxdeveloper.com/page.aspx?action=viewarticle&articleid=64

This of course, is one of many ways you could accomplish this, but MindManager will produce a really sharp looking output (see article)

I forgot that MindManager did this - I use it all the time and have converted lots of people, including all of my current company, to using it for all sorts of tasks. Highly recommended.
