Add another type of Access to SpeedSearchYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I' ve asked to modify the SpeedSearch's filtering criteria by adding a new type of Public Access.
There is picklist in the Ticket's form named Public Access and its options are 1-Customer and 5-Internal.
When submiting a ticket to the knowledgebase. You have to set that ticket as available internally only (when searching the knowledgebase with the LAN client) or as available to the public (when the user use the web portal knowledgebase search).
SalesLogix uses a numbering scheme for internal only vs customer availability. 5 for internal and 1 for customer.
The web portal uses the customer filter to return only knowledgebase results that are customer available. It filters out internal only results.

What I need to do is add another type of access called partner. Where we could set some tickets = partner access only.
When a user logs into the portal and does a speedsearch the knowledgebase would check the account type. If the account type is = partner then return both customer and partner results.
If the account type for that user is anything other than partner the kowledgebase would only return customer results.

Is this possible? Can the speedsearch be modified this way?
