Hello!

I am trying to alter the quick search so we can search by last,firstname. Currenlty it looks like the quick search is coded to look for a lookup called "lastname" and use that lookup. I tried to change it so that it would use Last,First Name but could not.

Is there a way to change the lookup that the quicksearch uses?

If you are on 6.2.6 or later and are using main views, the main view control has a "QuickFindLookup" property that can be set to any lookup that you would like.
