Hi...!
I am tryin to open inert new ticket plugin from vb.net ...
using objSLXApp = New SalesLogix.SlxApplicationClass()

I done it using

objMainView = objSLXApp.MainViews.Add("System:Insert New Ticket", 2, False)

objMainView.Caption = objSLXApp.Translator.Localize("Insert New Ticket")

Problem I facing that if insert new Ticket already open
I want to display msgbox....!!

I tried
MsgBox(objSLXApp.MainViews.ActiveView.Name)

But it gives name of main view name...

Please Suggest me Hw m gonna get name "Insert New Ticket"

You could try the forms collection (for example: Application.Forms("System:Insert New Ticket")) to see if the form is loaded. That might work.

Does that make sense?

Why do you want to pop up a slx insert ticket screen ? Why cant you create a vb screen and go thru backend with slx oledb providert and insert data to the ticket table. I have done it before , it works like a charm with all calculated variables popoulated and syncs out to the remote also. If you call slx plugins this way, dont you want your client to be open ? and running in the background.
