I have a custom Main View with full Hitsory and attchment functionailty.
The only problem I am having is getting the Email DragDrop to History Working.

If I DragRop and E-mail it goes in as an Attchment, I have looked around and can seem to find it.
Is this one of those hard-coded items that is going to be dificult to reproduce.

Thanks,

Brian

I did a little research and in the plug-in 'Attachment Support' there is a sub called 'OnFileDrop(FileName)'.

Have you looked for a method in your form that is relative to this? You might have to include the 'Attachment Support' plug-in as part of your form to enable this.

If you open the Attachment form (for A/C/O) you will notice the grid has that method and you just copy the elements of what they do - you can emulate the whole thing from there.

Thnaks guys, I was not as clear as I needed to be originaly.

I can drag and drop attachments succesfully all day long.

The functionality I am having a ptoblem with is:
If you drop and email from outlook onto the history window you get a history entry for that email.

I have looked everywhere and cant find it, I am assuming it is hard coded.

Thanks again.

Brian

Did you ever come up with a solution? I currently need to provide an estimate that includes the drag and drop to history specifically and I want to make sure it can be done before committing.
