Opportunities created by Knowledge Sync do not Synchronize to remote users

Hi All
We have a knowledge sync job that creates Opportunities in Saleslogix. These jobs get successfully created in Saleslogix but do not create TEF files so are not synced to remote users. In windows event logs we get following errors. Please advise

Execute Method. Error @ Line: 2 Table: OPPORTUNITY TriggerType: 0 Message: WriteWhatsNewToLog procedure: BuildValueString procedure. Line: 0 Table: O Type: N Error: Could not convert variant of type (Null) into type (Double)

Just to get the basics out of the way... is the process using the SLX OLE-DB provider?

If so, look more into what table alias 'O' is referring to - my guess is 'O'ppportunity, and then try to figure out which field is NULL that its expecting a double type .. maybe a field is missing that SLX is expecting?

Definately check that provider. If your not using the provider then any changes you make would not inherit or enforce SLX Security and would not be pulled for Sync.

As I posted to you on this same subject elsewhere:
A - Provider basics.. make sure you are following the SalesLogix Provider rules.
B - Do NOT use literal SQL ... or you will have to make sure you set the data types properly.. use ADO recordsets.. You have a data typing problem.
