Account hierarchies

Does Sales Logix 6.2 support Account Hierarchies? I want to be able to group some Accounts to a higher level Account. |

Thank you. Can I also maintain contacts at the ParentID level? If that is possible, will I be able to set up a webconnect account to each of the contacts at the parentiD level. |

Sorry, I meant to say "webaccess" account. Basically, I would like to create webaccess accounts on all contacts for a customer account. However, I have several duplicate customer accounts which i would like to group them using parentid so every contact of a customer accounts gets full visibility at the ParentID level. |

We have used the Parentid field to track our account hierarchies, since version 5.2. This is effective in most cases but you might also consider using a custom table to track multiple hierarchies i.e. A>B>C and A>B>D if a single account has two different hierarchy chains for some reason, (this happens for us) and it will require a more elaborate structure than using just the parentid field. |
