Cannot See Table in Query Builder (6.2.6)Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I am using the Query Builder dialog in SalesLogix 6.2.6 to create a custom list view, but one of the tables I need to access is not visible in the tree. The table is a custom table that is related to another custom table that is related to the Opportunity table.

Opportunity
- Custom Table 1 (1:Many relationship to Opportunity table)
- Custom Table 2 (1:Many relationship to Custom Table 1)

The appropriate joins appear to be setup correctly when viewed from Database Manager and from the Joins dialog that is available from Query Builder. I tried defining the joins again, but it would not allow this because the same exact joins already exist. Any ideas? Thanks.

the query builder will not always display all joined tables because some of the joins are recursive and it would take an infinite amount of time to fill the left pane.

To get to the table you want, you need to right click on the join id of the table you CAN see, and select either 'Create Local Join' or, if its available 'Global Join to YOURTARGETTABLE'

you may have to make a few of these joins like this in the query builder.
