A client has asked me to add another level to the Area Category Issue functionality in SLX 7.2.2, this would be another level dependant on Issue

I've never had to do this before so I need to know if this can be done, if i can modify the Manage Customer Options Form, specifically the Area-Category-Issue grid, or if theres anything wierd there that I should know about?
