Dear All
I want to know how to make users view all accounts which the does not create (i.e. created by others) When I login by new user I create and try to display all account, no account appear. How can I do this? I use SalesLogix 5.2 with SQL server 2000 database
The same when viewing report, it displays only the users created records not all even if i choose "Do not use Account or user or date filters" |

Are your Accounts owned by Everyone, or are they owned by Users or Teams?
Only accounts owned by Everyone may may viewed by everyone. Accounts owned by users or teams may be viewed only by the respective users or users who are members of the owning team. |

You need to have an Ownership strategy on which users can see records created by others.
For instance, if you need to allow certain users only to see records, while others could modify them, then you may want to create Teams. Make the Owner of the Records the appropriate Team and then add users to that Team. When you assign users to a team you can choose what Profile they have (within that team) which means that you could add a User to a Team and specify if he has Read Only or Read Write Profile.. |
