Adding a Button to a datagrid (dynamically)
Posted: 12 May 08 9:32 AM
I'm trying to add a button in a column, but I cannot get a 'button' to display. I've set the column type: ".Columns.Add(2)"
I've checked the Architect Help and there is really very little in the way of useful info on what the dynamic settings should be. Is there a place where these settings are listed?

Ok, now I'm just getting frustrated in my ignorance. I've figured out how that you have to set the ButtonVisible = TRUE, and I've been attempting to use the OnButtonColumnButtonClick event to popup a new data entry window. However, the only object that I think I could use is the Column object and there is no documentation on what I can do with it.
Additionally I'm guessing this won't be enough to pull the details about the specific product row where the button was clicked.
Basically I need to click the button for a particular product and have a new form open. This form will allow editing of specific opportunity product values, limited to certain productIDs. Those products that don't fit the logic will be locked out.
It all sounded simple enough but I've been beating my head against this wall for a few hours now. Any thoughts on the direction I should take?
