Grid OnEdited Event - blank PrimaryKeyValue??
Posted: 16 May 08 9:17 AM
I'm getting a blank PrimaryKeyValue when the OnEdited event fires for a datagrid and I'm not sure why. Any areas I should check?

You probably already did this but the datagrid does have the keyfield assigned and you are sure it has a value?

Ted's recommendation was the first one I'd suggest, but there's another possibility, if the datagrid is set up a certain way, that you need to make sure the primarykeyvalue is also one of the fields (visible or hidden) that is added to the datagrid when it is set up. There have been a few times when I set up a fully managed datagrid, and even though I added the Keyfield property, I forgot to add the value as part of datagrid and started to question my sanity.
