I have a requirement to allow multiple Primary Contacts for Accounts. I had thought this would be as simple as removing the code which removes the 'IsPrimary' flag from other Contacts when the current Contact is set to Primary.

However, the code which does this is proving rather difficult to find. The checkbox on Contact Detail (v7) doesn't appear to have any events, and the OnValidate of the form also doesn't appear to cover this process.

Can someone point me in the right direction to disable this code?

Many thanks,

Alec D

There are many things in SalesLogix that depend on a single primary contact per account. In fact, it gets a bit nasty if there is no primary.

You are pushing a rope uphill here.

Agree with RJL on this - suggest you consider adding a new CONTACT field and use that for your purposes.
