Can you set Enable Field lvl Secruity after table is created
Posted: 29 May 08 3:32 PM
I have a rather large table and the need has come up to use field lvl security on some fields. The issue is that the checkbox to enable this
is greyed out and I cannot find a way to make it so I can enable this feature.
Is there some other way to enable this field so we can use this feature?
I am using SLX 7.0
Thanks!

NO.. There's meta-data in blobs that's "encoded" which needs to be generated.. so you need to do what everyone else does:
1 - Create a NEW table with FLS enabled...
2 - Xfer the data to the new table.
