Modify the Mail Merge Logic

We use the Mail Merge function to send out email all of the time. Whenever we mail merge we associate it with an opportunity. I go in the database and modify the history records manually - is it possible to modify the Saleslogix 7.2 mail merge form - I can't find it in the architect.

I'm in the same boat as far as wanting to tweak the mail merge process a bit. How might I do this? I can't seem to find the mail merge form either.
