MergeFromFile questionsYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I got a simple form only has one button on it, when i click it i want to do this:

vFileName = "C:\Template1.doc"
Application.BasicFunctions.MergeFromFile(vFileName)

Then I get an error that says that: "The Mail merge engine encountered an error and cannot continue.The BaseTable Property has not been defined."

basically what im trying to do is run a mergefromfile using files i have stored in the library or on my pc and not in the MailMerge portion of SLX, I've looked at the mail merge SDK but theres lots of things i dont get from there so im trying to do it this way.

Does anyone have any guidance for me?
