Change Default "Add Group" Layout Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I am using slx 7.2.0 and the users have asked to add a field to the default layout that displays when you chose to create a new group.

They pick "Add group" and it brings up a layout that has Name , Account , City , State ...... and they would like to add Address1 to this layout so they do not have to always manually add it. This would be from the contact screen that they are adding the new group.

I can not figure out what to change to make this happen. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks !

Hi Chip,

Latest Contacts is the groups layout that is used if the user has not specified their "Default Layout for New Groups" in their SalesLogix options.

Get the user to pick the Contact Group that they have already added Address1 in their SalesLogix options and all should be OK.

Cheers,

Steve
