I have two read only datagrids that are on managed forms. Both grids have a phone number field in them. The phone number field is getting populated from the workphone field in the Contact table. This field in the Contact table is a varchar data type. The values are being stored in the Contact table with no formatting so when I display the data in my grids the phone number is one long string. Is there any was of getting this formatted to display correctly in the read only grids?

Hi Bill,

The column properties dialog has a property named FormatType that you can set to Phone.

Thanks Ryan,

Since I am create the grid dynamically I was able to format the field using:
dgViewBreakoutAttendees.Columns.Item(9).FormatType = ftPhone
