recursive joins
Posted: 19 Aug 08 4:21 PM
I think that I have a few recursive joins as it takes a tremendous amount of time to pull up the field selector (text) on the property window of a field on a form. Is there any way or tool that will look at the database and inform me of looped or recursive joins?
thanks,
dave

Try this:
SELECT J1.FROMTABLE FromTable, J1.FROMFIELD FromField, J1.TOTABLE ToTable, J1.TOFIELD ToField
FROM sysdba.JOINDATA J1 join sysdba.JOINDATA J2
on (J1.FROMTABLE = J2.TOTABLE
AND J1.TOTABLE = J2.FROMTABLE
AND J1.FROMFIELD =J2.TOFIELD
AND J1.TOFIELD = J2.FROMFIELD)
