Hi all,

I've a problem, I'want to resize (by vbscript) a window (nonmodal) depending on the user actions inside the form. I was searching for a possibility to use user32.dll functions like in VB.Net but couldn't find one.

Not possible in SLX.ckeck this thread "How to minimize the form with reference to button click"

Hi Joern,

Do you have the option to write your forms as .NET forms? Should give you more control.

With SalesLogix Active forms, you don't have access (limitation of VBScript) to the Windows API. You can create a COM control to wrap this functionality up so that you can expose it to VBScript though (or get your hands on a commercial COM control that does this). It may not be elegant to do things this way.

Have you ever come across the book, "GUI Bloopers"? The reason that I ask is that changing the screen like this may not be the best UI option for what you are trying to achieve. Probably better to live within the fixed size that you have and do something different that won't potentially confuse users.
