Hi,

I want to create function behind buttons which only works for the main server db and not for the remotes. So how can I retrieve the info if the user is logged on to the mainserver or to a remote db. Should I check connection string with servername or something like this, or is there any flag which I can read out.

Hi Mark,

You need to check the DBType from the SystemInfo table:

SELECT DBTYPE FROM SYSTEMINFO

1 - LAN
2 - Remote
3 - Remote Office
