I'm sure this is easy but I'm not finding any clear documentation or examples. I'm thinking about triggering on the OnClick event;
Application.BasicFunctions.WebOpen(mailto:)

Thoughts/suggestions?

Hi Marc,

It depends on how much detail you would like to be in the email. There is a function, Application_SendOutlookMessage, defined in the "System Global" global script. Alternately, you can use the Outlook object to do this (what I usually do). You can even use Application.BasicFunctions.QueMessage.

I think that your method will leave a hanging web window.

Stephen,

Yup, it opens a browser before creating the email, not ideal. All I want is a new email window to open in Outlook with the email address populated. Will QueMessage do that?

EDIT: Nevermind. I should have printed the new 7.2 LAN Developers guide sooner. I've been using the 6.2 one.
