Closing a mainview programmatically
Posted: 09 Oct 08 12:02 PM
I'm trying to force close a mainview programmatically and the following code doesn't work
blnFound = false
while i < objMainView.Count and not blnFound
If objMainView.Item(i).Name = "System:Opportunity Details" then
objMainView.Item(i).Close
blnFound = true
End If
i = i+1
Wend
An error is thrown on objMainView.Item(i).Close - I've also tried .Visible = false
Anyone out there know how to force a specific mainview closed programmatically?

Hi Matt
Have you tried using ModalResult?
...
objMainView.Item(i).ModalResult = mrOK
...

I have not - I'll give that a shot.
After a call with Sage support it appears my code above may be linked with a SalesLogix defect in slx 7.2 SP1 and 2 and (supposedly) resolved in 7.5
