SLX 7.21, Word 2003
In Mail Merge we have created a template that has an "ask field". It is supposed to prompt the user for information and insert it into the document. We have indicated the \o switch on the ask field which is supposed to ONLY prompt the user once and insert the info into every letter without prompting over and over. It is not working, it prompts repeatedly for the entire mail merge. What's wrong?

Each mail-merge to a letter is considered a separate Merge to SLX - hence, it repeatedly prompts (is my guess)

Thanks Mike. If I understand what you are saying there is something programatically withing SalesLogix code that negates the \o switch. I'll bet that code is not accessible too, eh?

Yup, in context each mm doc is a separate process and for each letter - it would invoke. In terms of accessibility - doubtful !
