Is there any fors/against for using this table? I basically want to create a temporary list that a user adds contacts to (add to datagrid), performs an action to the contacts and then clear the list. Is it better practise to just create a custom table to handle this?

Hi Leon,

Carla is right - in fact, I would say use a temp table that you create on the fly, otherwise you end up with to possibility of records being sync'ed out to remotes and you don't want that with temp table. If you do create a fixed table, make sure to set the OMNIDIRECTIONAL value for it in RESYNCTABLEDEFS to "X".

Just FYI, in 10 years I don't recall ever seeing anything in, or going into, the WORKAREA table.
