New 7.5 creating remote build cds for users

Hi All,
We upgraded Salelogix 7.0.1 with SQL 2000 and MSDE for remotes to 7.5 with SQL 2005 with SQL Express 2005 for remotes. We were stumped on how to create a build install cd to ship to our users until we just figured the best way is to install a brand new instance of our database. We are running into only 1 issue now. When we create a remote database for a user we need to specify a new instance name to SLX_DB or something similar rather than just SLXREMOTE. Can we change this somewhere so our remotes are going out with the new instance? |
