I'm trying to insert a new entry into the Event table via code off of the opp detail screen. Obviously, this isn't built like an activity. I am sucessfully inserting the record but it is not showing up on the slx calendar. I've scheduled an event while runnning profiler and it only shows in the insert into the event table. Nothing is being written to the activity, user_activty or any other table that I can find. What am I missing?

thanks,
dave

Are you sure it's not appearing - did you quit calendar and go back in - did you do an activities refresh.

Dave,

Found this just moments ago. The automatic refresh for the calendar view is Application.BasicFunctions.RefreshActivitiesCache. If you call this within the Global Script System: Global Activity during the appropriate event handler, it will redraw the Calendar with the latest data.

Hope this answers your question as well as it just answered mine!
