Accessing Opportunity_Contact Fields?

fiogf49gjkf0d Hi all,
I'm essentially re-developing the old Add-Edit Contacts legacy form. It'll be used to edit contacts in the contacts tab in opportunities.
To make the form, I created a new Opportunities form and added some controls. I then went to Text property of the first control and tried to set it to a field in Opportunity_Contact only to discover that it's not listed in the tree. Odd. I opened up the database manager and found it under Contact rather than Opportunity, so I made a new form, this time a Contacts form, slapped a control on there and went to the tree under the Text property. Still not there.
Is there something I need to do to associate the Opportunity_Contact table with Opportunity? Or am I going to have to code everything to write to the table via SQL? |

fiogf49gjkf0d I think you just need to create a local join to the Opportunity_Contact table.
Open your Opportunity based form, click on the Text property of your control, then --in the select data path dialog-- Right-Mouse on the OpportunityID field and select "create local join..." to the Opportunity Contact table over OpportunityID. |
