Problem with the currency Type
Posted: 09 Dec 08 9:42 AM
The length of the currency type used to be 15,2 but now it changed to 17,4. This creates a problem with exporting these fields to excel. Is there any way to make the currency fields length back to 15,2.

The reason for the change (to fixed 17,4) had to do with a very simple computer science issue: Accuracy.
Don't mess with it.. fix your excel side.
Oh yes.. it's (CURRENCY TYPE) hard-coded into SalesLogix - it does NOT use the User Data Types to define it.

The problem is in the SLX ExportToExcel Script......
Had to redo this extensively in order to handle Thousands of Rows in seconds not tens of minutes (yes you read that correctly).....and correct-er (OK More correct) formatting....
