Hi,

How to access email templates (those managed via Manage > Templates menu item) in vbscript?

We want use those templates to prepare email body to send diff emails. So far, We are hardcoding email body in vbscript code so far.

Is it possible to use email templates in vbscript?

regards
Varma

You'll want to use MailMerge to File as in the mail merge sdk.

check out this article.

it should get you going in the right direction.

yes it is.....I posted this a few months back so do a search.....

So you can come up with the SQL fields in the Architect and place them on a Word MM template.
2 Reference them in the VB mail merge script
3 and populate them with some pretty wild haired table and SQL stuff.....

we grab copy from the database itself......we could grab it from a local text file or word doc I'm sure.......
