Hi All,

We have a customer with a Mainview based on a custom table. Every now and then (more frequently recently) the primary ID of the base table record changes, for no apparent reason leaving it's child records referring to the original ID, therefore orphaned. To fix we have to work out what the ID was and change it back in the record of the base table. The new ID the record is always changed to a newly generated ID.

We have not been able to replicate this and the customer cannot replicate on demand either.

There are no scripts which change the primary id.

The only similarities between the records effected are that a data bound checkbox is ticked (although thte customer thinks this is changing on it's own), but again we have tried to replicate this action without success.

The entity's MainView is not in the system family, so I'm wondering if this is a possibility.

The MainView is currently launched directly off of the NavBar, so I'm going to change to use global scripts and SecFunctions.

Has anybody else experienced this or something like it or has any ideas?

Thanks in advance
James
