building wizard
Posted: 31 Mar 09 6:24 PM
I am building a "wizard" to enter data on several forms. These forms are basic manage forms with all of the data being saved via script. What is the best way to call the next form? If tried the following and neither works.
1. InvokeMainView "", "system:wizardform2"
2. Application.basicfunction.showviewforrecord
Thanks in advance.

Suggest you use a tab control instead. You could have a button marked >> Next which simply changes the active tab to the next one. Much simpler.

I was going to suggest just what Mike did.. a tab control.
You can hide all tabs.. expose them as needed under program control, etc. It keeps all the code/controls in one place and will perform far better than opening new forms. A lot easier to have a "back" function as well.
