We have slx 6.2 and our cost prices change alot and so we need to change them alot.
Howver in slx wisdom the cost price field in the products grid is not editable and so we have to open
manage products search for the product edit the product and then save it and F5 the program to change the cost price.
wouldn't it be nice just to overwrite the cost price in the opportunity product grid.

Please help as i have no idea how to do this.

I would also love to add another column to the grid but the grid is only built from sql code and i have tried editing it
the syntax check out ok but the form always gives an error when its sent out to everyone.

i would really really appreciate some help on this one as i have spent days on it

We simply did our own Opp products grid and a simple dataform.....then added calculations as needed in the products grid for inline editing.

You can incorporate your own checks and balances into the inline editing......if a SaleRep gives away the product too dearly or changes the 'cost' price (whatever that is) to an unrealistic number.
