We use 2 SLX databases, in one, we use the regular OOTB attachment logic from SLX. For our second SLX installation, we stream attachments directly into the DB so we can have better control over the security of certain attachments.

I would like to remove the "Attachments" tab from the History Detail Screen on that 2nd installation to prevent confusion for for the users (I already have a grid at the bottom of the History Detail View screen where they can add attachments via the streaming method.)

Is there an easy way to remove that Attachment tab? or is it part of the inaccessible "Insert:Note" function? I'm hoping I'm just missing a simple switch that needs to be flipped.

AFAIK, that tab is part of the core SalesLogix executable that can not be accessed for disabling.
